The company’s services range from the purchase, development and distribution of large plots in select zones, to supplying ready-to-use residential and commercial properties. Al Mazaya is widely recognised as one of the most influential and respected real estate development companies in the Middle East, with numerous large-scale projects. The company was formed from a belief in the need for strong, rigorous investment in the region, and has prevailed in creating and maintaining the trust of large-scale investors in the Kuwaiti and UAE markets and abroad.
Synopsis/Challenges
With offices located in the UAE and Kuwait, a key challenge faced by the management at Al Mazaya was the issue of valuable time lost by teams due to travelling between the two destinations, which in turn made the arranging, attending and managing of meetings and schedules highly time consuming. To address the matter, Al Mazaya sought to deploy a flexible and scalable video conferencing system that could be accessed from any location, allowing for the business to function more efficiently while reducing costs and time spent on travelling.
Solution & Implementation
To meet the objective, the Al Mazaya team reached out to Seven Seas Computers who along with their FVC (value-added distributor of Polycom) to design a solution which meets customer business objectives.
Seven Seas using its intellectual capital build over three decades of local presence worked very closely with Al Mazaya team to design and deploy a solution based on Polycom technology using Polycom Group 500 Platform - a class-leading video conferencing solution with an eagle-eye producer camera and Polycom® RealPresence Clariti 1830, which is a powerful infrastructure software for businesses that connects people through HD voice, content, video, and web collaboration, as well as enabling multiparty video, voice, and content collaboration with real presence touch control panel. The project deliverables also covered installing the Polycom Group 500 with eagle eye director camera in the company’s Kuwait office.
